So, who's signed and why Paper Cranes?
In the Japanese culture, the Paper Crane symbolizes honor and loyalty, good luck, peace, happiness and hope. Today the practice of folding 1,000 cranes represents healing and hope during hard times, and legend has it that a person who folds 1,000 paper cranes will be granted his or her greatest wish.
This Christmas, you'll be granting wishes for Japan's recovery with your donations, and getting something pretty cool yourself! The cranes that will be up for auction are signed by one or more of the following people:
David Duchovny
Gillian Anderson
Chris Carter
Frank Spotnitz
Dean Haglund
Bruce Harwood
Tom Braidwood
Mitch Pileggi
William B. Davis
Sheila Larken
R.W. Goodwin
Robert Patrick
Annabeth Gish
